I have had my dog Abby in doggie day care at Bark of the Town for several years now. Abby, a bichon poodle mix, loves to go there. As a service, I have Abby picked up and dropped off due to my work schedule. If I happen to be home, she just goes crazy and runs right to the car with Kim or Patti ready to go play. Once there, she has the freedom to play with other dogs and get a nail cutting or shampoo or full grooming at the same time! Abby loves Patti, Kim and others on staff. Patti has such a way with animals that I call her my personal “dog whisperer”! She is knowledgeable and has a genuine love of all the dogs …and even cats, which she cares for. I have a neighbor who needed her cat groomed but couldn’t get the cat out of the house. I had her call Bark of the Town. Kim and Patti went to the house personally and took care of the cat and its grooming needs. My neighbors were amazed! Bark of the Town is caring, friendly and convenient. I've had dogs for many years and took them to several groomers across the country.  What is different and refreshing about Bark of the Town is they don't crate your dogs all day IF they are social or unless you would like them.  I always felt bad about taking them to the groomer because most grooming shops would place them in a crate untill they were done or until the owner was capable to pick them up.  I feel you get more bang for your buck as you get superior grooming and a little doggie daycare!  The owner Patti and  people who work there truely love your pet as much as you do!!

I have been taking my dog to The Bark of the Town since it opened. At this point I could not think of going anywhere else. Patti and the other groomers in the shop are very caring and careful in their handling my cocker spaniel. They have established a relationship with my pet and I am thrilled with the attention to detail provided. The staff always goes above and beyond helping out when needed.

It is with great pleasure that I write this testimonial for Kim Young of Bark of the Town.  I first met Kim several years ago when she worked at Pet Smart.  I had a Black Labrador (Faith Marie) who had severe allergy problems.  My Vet had recommended weekly bathing. Kim would take care of me each time I came in.  She developed a relationship with Faith and Faith with her.  I never had a problem getting Faith to go for a bath.  I would say "Wanna go see Kim" and Faith would jump up and be ready to go to the car.  In her later years Faith's allergies got so bad that she would chew her paws until she bleed.  The Vet recommended bathing her paws in Listerine mouthwash.  This treatment helped heal the open wounds and would smell enough where Faith would chew at her paws less.  Kim would do this for me each time she bathed Faith.  My vet also recommended the use of Selson Blue Medicated shampoo and Kim did that for me as well.  I never had to worry about my baby when she was with Kim and the rest of the Bark of the Town staff.  Unfortunately, my Faith Marie had to be put to rest almost two months ago.  Kim cried with me as if she were her own pet.  On a happier note I rescued a new baby (Buddy) 2 weeks ago and my friends at Bark of the Town have already treated him great.  If you need your pet groomed Bark of the Town is the place to go.  I highly recommend Bark of the Town.

Sadie is a 15 pound cockapoo and  she is so excited to be at  Bark of the Town that she "pulls" me up the stairway when we go in for her grooming.  You can tell right away that the staff loves dogs   They  are friendly, caring and personable and I always feel that our dog is well taken care of while she is there. The cuts are consistant and she always smell  soooooooooooo good after.

Remy has been visiting Bark of the Town since puppyhood and I couldn't be happier. The best part is that grooming day is more like puppy play date for her. The dogs all play together in a large open room when they are not being groomed as opposed to other salons where they wait for their owners in cages. Remy spends all day there and has a ball. I went through 3 groomers before I found somone that didn't scalp my Bichon Frise.  Seems none of them wanted to take the time to do the job right.  Even after I told them not to shave him he would come out looking pathetic.  Now that I found Kim at Bark of The Town, my Skipper comes out looking better than a show dog.  The grooming is meticulous and Skipper comes home so proud of himself and how he looks.  They are so kind and do a fabulous job.  I highly reccommend them.

As I recently became a new owner of my little Shih Tzu/Maltese mix, ADDIE, I was actively searching for a groomer.  I received a coupon for $10 off my first visit to Bark of the Town and thought hey why not, lets give them a shot.  I called and set up an appointment for that weekend and have been going back every six weeks ever since.  I absolutely LOVE taking ADDIE and ADDIE loves to go and hang out with all the other dogs.  The ladies there are wonderful and a delight to know that they are taking SUPER care of her.  Found my groomer to say the least.  Thanks Bark of Town for making my decision so easy...

My dog Jack loves going to the Bark of the Town to get groomed.  When Jack was a puppy he was a little difficult to handle and the groomers at a big chain pet store wanted to charge a premium to have him groomed.  But Kim at Bark of the Town is great with him.  She knows exactly how to handle him and she never has a problem anymore.  In fact, Jack is always very happy to go for the ride to see Kim.  He also loves playing with the others dogs while waiting for his turn to get cleaned up.  On the ride home is so tuckered out from all the playing he sleeps the entire ride home.

Bark of the Town is fantastic!  Patti and the Bark Team are so friendly and they obviously love what they do.  They know just how dogs should look and they always make them look their best.  Patti, Angela, and Kim can work their grooming magic on any breed; we bring Patches, a Shih-Tzu mix and Bella, a Chihuahua, Pekinese, Shih-Tzu mix puppy.  My dogs always look amazing and smell terrific when I pick them up!  Patti and her team take excellent care of the dogs and my dogs love to be there!  Sometimes, we just bring the dogs for play-dates.  Bella races from the car to the door every time!
